These Terms & Conditions ("Terms", "Terms and Conditions") govern your access to and use of the Oweg Movies website, mobile applications, television applications, digital services, subscription services, video streaming services, content and related features (collectively referred to as the "Platform").

In these Terms, "Oweg Movies", "we", "us", "our" or "Company" refers to ASCENT RETECHNO INDIA PRIVATE LIMITED, and "you", "your" or "User" refers to any person accessing or using the Platform.

By accessing, registering, subscribing to, downloading, installing or using Oweg Movies, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agreed to these Terms.

If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the Platform.

2. ABOUT OWEG MOVIES

Oweg Movies is an entertainment and OTT platform that may provide users with access to digital entertainment content including, but not limited to:

  • Movies

  • Web series

  • TV shows

  • Short films

  • Videos

  • Live TV

  • Premium content

  • Free content

  • Trailers

  • Promotional content

  • Music or audiovisual content

  • Other digital entertainment services

The Company may add, modify, suspend or discontinue any feature, service or category of Content from time to time.

3. ELIGIBILITY

You must have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement under applicable law to use the Platform.

If you are below the applicable age of majority, you may use the Platform only with the involvement, supervision and consent of your parent or legal guardian, where required by law.

Certain Content may contain age restrictions or classifications.

Parents and legal guardians are responsible for supervising minors using their Account and for ensuring that age-restricted Content is not accessed by persons who are not permitted to view it.

4. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS

By using Oweg Movies, you confirm that:

  1. You have read these Terms;

  2. You understand these Terms;

  3. You agree to be bound by these Terms;

  4. You will comply with all applicable laws;

  5. Information provided by you is accurate and complete; and

  6. You are legally entitled to use the Platform.

Your continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of the latest version of these Terms.

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.

You should immediately contact Oweg Movies if you believe:

  • your Account has been compromised;

  • your password has been disclosed;

  • an unauthorized person has accessed your Account; or

  • suspicious activity has occurred.

We may take reasonable security measures, including temporarily restricting access to an Account where necessary to protect the User, Platform or Company.

8. SUBSCRIPTION SERVICES

Oweg Movies may offer free and paid Content.

Certain Content, features or services may require a paid Subscription.

Subscription plans, prices, validity, benefits and applicable restrictions will be displayed on the Platform before purchase.

Subscription plans may differ based on:

  • duration;

  • Content availability;

  • video quality;

  • supported devices;

  • number of permitted streams;

  • geographic location;

  • promotional offers; or

  • other applicable conditions.

The Company reserves the right to introduce, modify or discontinue Subscription plans subject to applicable law.

9. SUBSCRIPTION FEES

Applicable Subscription Fees will be displayed before you complete your purchase.

Unless expressly stated otherwise:

  • applicable taxes may be charged;

  • payment must be completed through an authorized payment method;

  • Subscription access begins after successful payment confirmation; and

  • your bank, card issuer or payment provider may apply separate charges.

The Company reserves the right to correct obvious pricing or technical errors.

Where an obvious pricing or transaction error occurs, the Company may cancel the affected transaction and provide an appropriate refund where required by applicable law.

10. PAYMENT PROCESSING

Payments may be processed through authorized third-party payment gateways, app stores or other payment service providers.

By making a payment, you agree to comply with the applicable payment provider's terms.

Oweg Movies may receive transaction-related information necessary to:

  • confirm payments;

  • activate Subscriptions;

  • process refunds;

  • prevent fraud;

  • maintain transaction records;

  • resolve disputes; and

  • comply with legal requirements.

Sensitive payment information may be processed and stored by authorized payment service providers according to their applicable security and privacy practices.

11. AUTOMATIC RENEWAL

Where automatic renewal is offered, the applicable renewal terms will be displayed before activation.

If you enable automatic renewal, your Subscription may automatically renew at the applicable price unless you cancel it before the renewal date.

If your Subscription was purchased through an app store or third-party platform, cancellation may need to be completed through that platform.

Refunds and cancellations are governed by the Oweg Movies Refund & Cancellation Policy.

12. FREE TRIALS AND PROMOTIONAL OFFERS

Oweg Movies may occasionally provide:

  • free trials;

  • introductory offers;

  • discount codes;

  • promotional Subscriptions;

  • bundled offers; or

  • other promotional benefits.

Promotional offers may have additional eligibility requirements.

Unless otherwise specified:

  • offers may be limited to eligible Users;

  • an offer may not be used repeatedly;

  • promotional offers may not be combined;

  • fraudulent use may result in cancellation; and

  • the Company may modify or withdraw an offer where permitted by law.

13. CONTENT AVAILABILITY

Content available on Oweg Movies may vary depending on:

  • location;

  • Content licensing rights;

  • Subscription plan;

  • language;

  • device;

  • applicable law;

  • regulatory requirements;

  • licensing duration; and

  • other contractual restrictions.

The Company does not guarantee that any specific movie, show, video or other Content will remain available permanently.

Content may be added, removed, replaced or modified from time to time.

14. CONTENT LICENSE

Subject to these Terms and your applicable Subscription, Oweg Movies grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable right to access and view Content made available through the Platform.

This access is provided solely for your personal and non-commercial entertainment purposes.

Unless expressly authorized by Oweg Movies, you must not:

  • copy Content;

  • reproduce Content;

  • redistribute Content;

  • sell Content;

  • rent Content;

  • sublicense Content;

  • publicly perform Content;

  • publicly display Content;

  • broadcast Content;

  • commercially exploit Content;

  • create derivative works;

  • capture or record streaming Content; or

  • bypass technical Content protection.

Access to Content does not transfer ownership of any intellectual property rights to you.

15. DIGITAL RIGHTS MANAGEMENT

Oweg Movies may use technological protection measures including:

  • encryption;

  • digital rights management;

  • access tokens;

  • device restrictions;

  • session controls;

  • watermarking;

  • download restrictions;

  • streaming security; and

  • other security technologies.

You must not attempt to bypass, disable, modify or circumvent these security measures.

You must not:

  • extract streaming URLs;

  • reverse engineer Content protection;

  • scrape Content;

  • record protected Content;

  • use unauthorized downloading tools;

  • modify the Platform to bypass restrictions; or

  • assist others in circumventing security mechanisms.

Violation of these provisions may result in suspension or termination of your Account and may lead to legal action where appropriate.

16. ACCEPTABLE USE

You agree to use Oweg Movies only for lawful purposes.

You must not use the Platform to:

  1. violate applicable laws or regulations;

  2. infringe intellectual property rights;

  3. distribute malicious software;

  4. interfere with Platform infrastructure;

  5. conduct unauthorized scraping;

  6. attempt unauthorized access;

  7. reverse engineer the Platform;

  8. disrupt the experience of other Users;

  9. transmit fraudulent information;

  10. abuse technical vulnerabilities;

  11. circumvent geographic restrictions;

  12. upload unlawful Content;

  13. harass or threaten others;

  14. impersonate another person or organization;

  15. conduct fraudulent payment activity;

  16. misuse promotional offers;

  17. commercially exploit the Platform without authorization; or

  18. engage in any activity prohibited by these Terms.

17. USER-GENERATED CONTENT

If Oweg Movies allows Users to submit reviews, comments, ratings, feedback, profile information or other material, such material may be referred to as "User Content."

You are solely responsible for the User Content you submit.

You represent that:

  • you have the necessary rights to submit the Content;

  • your Content does not infringe third-party rights;

  • your Content is not unlawful;

  • your Content does not contain malicious software; and

  • your Content does not violate these Terms.

The Company may remove, restrict or moderate User Content where reasonably necessary or where required by law.

18. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All intellectual property associated with Oweg Movies, including:

  • trademarks;

  • logos;

  • brand names;

  • software;

  • website design;

  • application design;

  • graphics;

  • text;

  • databases;

  • interfaces;

  • Content owned or licensed by the Company; and

  • other proprietary materials

are owned by or licensed to ASCENT RETECHNO INDIA PRIVATE LIMITED or the applicable rights holders.

Nothing in these Terms grants you ownership of such intellectual property.

You may not use the Oweg Movies name, logo, trademarks or branding without prior written authorization.

19. CONTENT RIGHTS AND THIRD-PARTY LICENSORS

Certain Content may be owned by or licensed from third-party producers, studios, distributors, creators, broadcasters or other rights holders.

The Company may be required to modify or remove such Content when licensing rights expire or when required by the relevant rights holder or applicable law.

Content availability may therefore change without prior notice where reasonably necessary.

20. ADVERTISEMENTS

Certain portions of Oweg Movies may be supported by advertisements.

Advertisements may be displayed by Oweg Movies or third-party advertising partners.

The Company does not necessarily endorse products or services shown in advertisements.

Transactions between you and an advertiser are subject to the advertiser's own terms.

21. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

The Platform may integrate or interact with third-party services, including:

  • payment gateways;

  • app stores;

  • analytics providers;

  • advertising providers;

  • cloud service providers;

  • social media platforms;

  • technology providers; and

  • Content partners.

Third-party services may have their own terms and privacy policies.

22. MOBILE APPLICATIONS

23. INTERNET AND DEVICE REQUIREMENTS

24. DOWNLOAD AND OFFLINE VIEWING

Where Oweg Movies provides an offline download feature, downloaded Content may be subject to:

  • expiration;

  • device restrictions;

  • Subscription restrictions;

  • licensing restrictions;

  • storage limitations; and

  • other technical conditions.

Downloaded Content is intended solely for personal viewing.

Downloaded Content must not be copied, extracted, transferred, redistributed or commercially exploited.

25. AGE-RESTRICTED CONTENT

Parents and guardians are responsible for supervising minors using their Account.

  • you violate these Terms;

  • fraudulent activity is detected;

  • unauthorized access is attempted;

  • payment fraud occurs;

  • intellectual property rights are infringed;

  • Platform security is compromised;

  • Content protection is circumvented;

  • the Platform is misused;

  • required by law; or

  • continued access creates a security or operational risk.

Where required by law, the Company may provide notice or an opportunity to resolve the relevant violation.

29. EFFECT OF TERMINATION

Upon termination or expiration of an Account or Subscription:

  • access to applicable Content may cease;

  • Subscription benefits may become unavailable;

  • downloaded Content may become inaccessible;

  • access to certain Platform features may end; and

  • you must stop using any Platform access that has been terminated.

Termination does not affect rights or obligations that accrued before termination.

30. SERVICE AVAILABILITY

We make reasonable efforts to maintain the availability of Oweg Movies.

However, the Platform may become temporarily unavailable due to:

  • scheduled maintenance;

  • upgrades;

  • technical failures;

  • server problems;

  • internet outages;

  • cybersecurity incidents;

  • Content licensing restrictions;

  • government or regulatory actions;

  • power failures;

  • telecommunications failures; or

  • circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

The Company may modify, suspend or discontinue any feature where reasonably necessary.

31. DISCLAIMER

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Oweg Movies is provided on an "as available" basis.

We do not guarantee that:

  • the Platform will always be available;

  • the Platform will always be error-free;

  • every Content title will remain available;

  • streaming will always be uninterrupted;

  • every device will be compatible;

  • recommendations will always be accurate;

  • Content will always meet your expectations; or

  • the Platform will be free from all technical issues.

Nothing in these Terms excludes any statutory rights that cannot legally be excluded.

32. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, ASCENT RETECHNO INDIA PRIVATE LIMITED shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising from your use of the Platform.

This may include, where legally permissible:

  • loss of profits;

  • loss of business;

  • loss of data;

  • loss of goodwill;

  • service interruption; or

  • other consequential losses.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited or excluded.

33. INDEMNIFICATION

To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless ASCENT RETECHNO INDIA PRIVATE LIMITED, its directors, officers, employees, contractors, affiliates, licensors and service providers from claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs and expenses arising from:

  • your violation of these Terms;

  • your unlawful use of the Platform;

  • infringement of third-party rights by you;

  • User Content submitted by you;

  • fraudulent activities associated with your Account; or

  • violation of applicable law.

34. FORCE MAJEURE

The Company shall not be responsible for delay or failure caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including:

  • natural disasters;

  • fire;

  • flood;

  • epidemic or pandemic;

  • war;

  • terrorism;

  • civil unrest;

  • government actions;

  • telecommunications failures;

  • internet outages;

  • cyberattacks;

  • infrastructure failures;

  • power failures; or

  • other force majeure events.

35. ELECTRONIC COMMUNICATIONS

By using Oweg Movies, you consent to receiving service-related electronic communications where permitted by applicable law.

These may include:

  • Account notifications;

  • payment confirmations;

  • Subscription notifications;

  • security alerts;

  • service updates;

  • policy updates; and

  • other transactional communications.

Marketing communications will be handled in accordance with applicable law and available opt-out mechanisms.

39. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of India.

Subject to applicable law, disputes relating to these Terms or the Platform shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts having jurisdiction over the Company's registered office.

Nothing in these Terms prevents a consumer from exercising statutory rights available under applicable Indian consumer-protection laws.

40. DISPUTE RESOLUTION

If you have a dispute concerning Oweg Movies, you should first contact our support team and provide details of the issue.

We will make reasonable efforts to resolve the matter amicably.

Where applicable, disputes may be subject to mediation, arbitration or court proceedings in accordance with applicable Indian law.

41. SEVERABILITY

If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid, unlawful or unenforceable, that provision shall be modified or removed to the minimum extent necessary.

The remaining provisions shall continue to remain valid and enforceable.

42. WAIVER

Failure by the Company to enforce any provision of these Terms does not constitute a waiver of its right to enforce that provision in the future.

43. ASSIGNMENT

You may not assign or transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without the Company's prior written consent.

The Company may assign or transfer its rights and obligations in connection with a merger, acquisition, restructuring, sale of assets or similar corporate transaction, subject to applicable law.

44. ENTIRE AGREEMENT

These Terms, together with the Oweg Movies:

  • Privacy Policy;

  • Refund & Cancellation Policy;

  • Data Deletion Policy; and

  • other applicable Platform policies

constitute the agreement governing your use of Oweg Movies.

If a specific policy contains terms specifically applicable to a particular service, those specific terms may apply to the extent of any inconsistency.

46. ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

By accessing, registering for or using Oweg Movies, you acknowledge and agree that:

  1. You have read these Terms & Conditions;

  2. You understand and accept these Terms;

  3. You will use Oweg Movies only for lawful purposes;

  4. Content availability may change;

  5. Subscription access is subject to applicable Subscription terms;

  6. Your Account must not be misused;

  7. Unauthorized copying, recording, redistribution or commercial exploitation of Content is prohibited;

  9. You are responsible for complying with applicable laws while using the Platform.
